QB Zack Stoudt connected with Jake Stoneburner three times for touchdowns in the Rocks 49-20 win over Grove City in the first OCC Buckeye Division contest of the season. Jared Phillips added to the scoring, rushing for 151 yards and four touchdowns! The Shamrocks will host Upper Arlington on October 5 at 7:30pm.

The Shamrocks were able to turn three Gahanna turnovers into Touchdowns and broke a close game wide open when Jordan Bowdy recovered a fumbled Lions punt return late in the third quarter.  Then on third and 20, Fairchild came up with a 25 yard Touchdown reception from Kristan to make it 28 17. On the very next Gahanna possession, Gardiner intercepted a pass that gave the Shamrocks possession on the Gahanna 12 yard line, setting up a Kristan Touchdown to make it 35-17.  Coffman will play Hilliard Davidson in the Division I Regional Final Football game on November 17th.

Scoring: Fairchild: 66 yard Touchdown run, 7 yard Touchdown run, 25 yard Touchdown reception. Zak Kristan: 2 yard Touchdown run, 142 yards passing. Ratliff: 8 yard Touchdown run. Baltzer: 5 of 5 extra points. Zack Stoudt completed 5 passes for 47 yards.

The Rocks kept the momentum going with a Touchdown in the second and a Field Goal in the third. Westerville South finally got on the board with a Field Goal in the third and then a Touchdown in the fourth. The Westerville South Wildcats were in position to send the game into overtime with three minutes thirteen seconds remaining in the fourth quarter, but the Rocks defense sacked Quarterback Cortez Fleming three times during the drive to hold on to the win.

Scoring:  Ratliff: 14 yard Touchdown reception.  Kristan: 14 yard Touchdown pass.  Baltzer: 23 yard Field Goal.

After both Teams exchanged fumbles in the first quarter, the Shamrocks D held strong when Troy went for it on a 4th and 1 on the Coffman 42 and came up short. An even exchange of punts, Coffman in the midst of a promising drive botched handoff. Troy recovered the loose ball on the Coffman 23 and two plays later Cory Brown (Troy) ran 20 yards for the first score of the game. The extra point made it 7-0.

On the next drive Zak Kristan completed a thirty yard pass to Jake Stoneburner and the ground game was beginning to heat up, but the Rocks came up empty. Deep in the second quarter with one second remaining until halftime, Kristan hooked up with Stoneburner again for a 35 yard TD pass to tie the game at half 7-7.
